Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović first visited Ireland as the Minister for European Integration in the early 2000's. Croatia became a member of the European Union in July 2013. Her visit to Ireland in 2017 is happening at the same time that Britain is leaving the EU. She believes Ireland and Croatia have a lot in common.
